They trust Sinequa
Mercer, a worldwide
leader of HR & Finance consulting, expanded the use of
Sinequa Business Search to replace its Google
application (GSA) across the Intranet portal of the entire
group.
Within a few weeks, Sinequa demonstrated its
ability to index more than 5 million additional documents stored in
many data silos (SharePoint 2007, OpenText Livelink).
This new project uses the same index server that already manages
more than 30 million documents for the essential
Mercer application: eWorking.
Beyond the cost savings by sharing search servers,
Mercer now benefits from new features, as yet
unknown by users of the previous Sinequa
version.
Pernod Ricard
is a highly decentralized group. This business model has led each
branch, each brand, each business unit to gradually develop its own
intranet and extranet.
In 2009 there were over 40 sites, with numerous consequences:
multiple access methods, inefficient search, redundancy of the
information, few collaboration features.
In 2010, Pernod Ricard decided to create a content
aggregation page in order to allow employees to easily access the
contents of the different sites, and also a collaborative work
space for the entire group.
The integration of Sinequa Business Search offers
search across multiple, structured or unstructured data sources
regardless of their original platform. Ultimately, Pernod
Ricard plans to integrate Sinequa into
its business applications.
Since 2009, Sinequa
provides the Business Search function for the SFR
Intranet Portal "MySFR", with over 8 million indexed documents from
many sources within and outside SharePoint 2007 (shared disks,
other intranets, email, etc.).
Since this first implementation, new innovative uses of Business
Search have been launched by SFR, completely
autonomously, such as the indexing of 300,000 SAP orders
(simplifying access to the corresponding information for
users).
SFR optimizes the detection of possible fraud by
indexing over a hundred million lines of the database pertaining to
the activity of advisers. Finally, the entire base of about 30
million customers is being indexed.
